Well I'd try to grab Schmidt for Rusch (and use the $$ from drese after wiaver to get a closer/pen). That would give you a very nice sp staff. (one that would be better if santana was RJ and Glavine was Davis IMO, but I doubt you could get all 3). RJ of course is far and away teh best SP in the set, guarenteed 20+ wins even on bad teams. But pricey and you still need some bats. Schmidt or RJ will NOT be there in round 2 of waivers, so get them first. Then I'd grab either Finley or Rowand for CF, a much better value than Hunter.

1) Schmidt for rusch (complete your staff)
2) Castillo for roberts (leadoff hitter and better def)
3) Finley for Hunter
4) Rowand
5) Mabry both of these last 2 for overbay so you get rid of him and get the $$ one way or another).

Well I had to come into work today so I had a chance to tinker with the team. I think the starters should fair ok (I hope), I tinkered around some with the bully which is still pretty shakey. I think I've shaped up the offense nicely but there is always room for improvement.

Well the team's offense started out nicely lastnight scoring 21 runs but the opponent scored 20. We took 2/3 but, as suspected, the pitching is iffy at best. Looks like this season is gonna be a rollercoaster! :roll:
