Couple questions:

1. Does Montreal equal Washington?
2. Are we taking into account 2007 actual season (IE Soriano as a cubbie)?
3. I know the rules are first come first serve but there seems to be a definite advantage to selecting a base team early as opposed to having a state lotto drawing for teams which is definitely fairer.

I have a feeling that most people playing here are doing so to play their favorite team and wouldn't be much interested in a lotto for draft order. Some of the very first teams picked were certainly not the best from a pure winning perspective. If one of your favorite teams is still on the board, pick 'em up and have some fun with us. I have played in a few leagues with very similar rules and you'd be surprised what you can do with a "bad" team. Don't forget that if your roster is such that you don't have much natural talent on your team salary-wise you are able to pick up 5 players who either now play for your team, and yes that does mean 2007, or have ever played for your team as long as they are not carded to another owner's base team.

I don't know if the commish made any statement about that, but if it were me, and I didn't know, I'd put them at the top. ;)

I'll set the league up later today and PM the east teams first, then when its full the central and finally the west. As for rating the 5 FAs, list them at the top.
