Just read my article :) Although I really appreciate that the "slick fielder" article showed me the proper way to go about analyzing this, I believe that, by factoring in double plays turned and other factors, I have made it outdated. Hopefully my article is comprehensible; if not, let me know! (If you're not interested in "playing along at home" with all the math and just want to see the results, you can skip to the last two pages.)
