Balfour costs a bit more and isn't an R3. Most recently Kuo put up this line for me:

273.1 IP 16-14 16 saves 293 K's 2.27 ERA 1.08 WHIP

I've never seen Balfour pitch near that many innings.

My team has Soria, Kuo (155.2IP), Chipper and Ramirez. I just finished my league and I am the wildcard at 89-73. Kuo and Chipper did very well but Soria and Ramirez under performed, but I am at Petco. Mike

As a new player, can you explain how you get so many innings out of your RPs?

Do not set him to close or come in before any inning. I set Kuo for set up and middle relief with no set innings to pitch. Set everyone else for L relief special or R relief special and quick pull. Set my closer to close only and he won't come in unless to close. That leaves Kuo as the only option to pitch at any other setting that HAL has to put a RP in. It helps that your guy can pitch 2 or 3 innings before fatigue sets in. That's my way but I didn't get 200 inn out of him. Mike

Is Jeter overrated?

Postby Whamo » Fri Dec 18, 2009 8:14 am

I don't think so! I hate the Yankees, but I saw Jeter play in the playoffs last year in Anaheim. He hit three deep flyballs, one for a homerun, against a good pitcher.
