9am EDT? that means 6am on the west coast Might I suggest it's 9am PST which is noon on the east coast? In which case I'm in if it's 9am eastern time, I won't be able to participate as I'll miss draft windows because of work.

I'm not a lottery expert, but living in RI, I don't think they have a pick 3. I do believe it's pick 4 in RI, which is why I chose CT myself :D

I've never done this before and I didn't understand the "lotto state" thing, so a just picked a random state. If someone could explain it to me I'd appreciate it.

You are correct Jerlins. I found this site after more than once choosing states without Pick 3's.

drew, the Pick-3 lotto numbers for our chosen states are used to determine the order of our draft. The person who chose the state with the lowest lotto number (on the day the league fills) will choose first in the draft. The person with the highest number will choose last (but then picks again immediately since the draft is serpentine.) Someone else can confirm, but as far as your choice (AZ) is concerned, I believe they choose their Pick-3 numbers very late. So all of the other states numbers have been posted but AZ is still hanging. No big deal, but another state may expedite the posting of the draft order.

See, I USUALLY take NY or CT myself, and I should know the Lil Rhoddy doesn't have a pick 3 as I lived there for 4 years and worked for WPRI the TV station that produces the lottery picks, shows how much I paid attention to those drawings.
