Bernie, this is parallel to the pitcher's hitting situation. Since the standard league 2005 league uses a DH, I assume that pitcher's hitting ability does not contribute to pricing. Therefore if you play in a non-DH league and pitcher's hitting ability is used by the game engine (which I doubt), a good-hitting pitcher gives you extra value for free. Conversely standard ATG2 leagues use no DH so pitcher's hitting ability might be(?) part of pitcher pricing. If that is the case, then good-hitting pitchers are poor values in non-DH leagues because you are paying for something you don't get.
So the questions for optional clutch and optional DH features are really:[list:ae9ddccb2f][*:ae9ddccb2f]How much value does it contribute to pricing? If it is a small amount, then it should be okay to use as an option.[*:ae9ddccb2f]Is pitcher's hitting ability even really being used, or does the game engine need to be fixed?[/list:u:ae9ddccb2f]
