Hey blackjack. We are in the Pelzer and OFET theme leagues together. Pelzer league is fun. OFET theme will be interesting if we can get the DD draft done. Irene power outages or lack of proxies have gringed it to a halt. Your league is similar to Pelzer. Possible changes might be: why draft 6 guys you are not going to use? Draft only 2 players from each of lowest 15 teams (maybe only 14 lowest to keep it simple 28 draft spots + stadium), plus a stadium on DD like the OFET (31 spots). You can roster only 28 but keep the rights to the other two to bring up. If you drop a Cardinal you must pick up a Cardinal. You must keep 2 players from each team on your roster at all times (14 might be better). Unlimited money $200. Next theme could be the same from the top 15 teams. Maybe the mention of 2 or 3 other themes are keeping people out because of money or commitment?? Just some thoughts. :D Coach

Thanks for the advice. My thinking with autodrafting the last 6 players was to keep the draft shorter and to make waivers more interesting. I still want to try that. Will possibly go to 2 players from each team, that would be interesting but that would be a shallow talent pool to draft from and would change the theme significantly (maybe not a bad thing :? ). Originally had salcap at $200, changed to $80 because a lot of people don't like unlimited money, I feel like in this theme at least an unlimited cap would not affect competitive balance much but will leave at $80 for now. I took out mention of more themes, I had said earlier in the post that there was no commitment but you have a good point- some people do speed read and decide "that's not for me" based on one or two sentences.
