Ballpark ratings 2011

All others on the two lists are consistent.

I was getting ready to slit my wrists, since I have Wrigley in a keeper with few Lefty hitters worth keeping - bad enough without a 1 on BPS for righty hitters.

BP effects

What determines the ballpark effect homerun/singles each year? It is interesting to note how much some of these parks change year over year. It isn't like these teams get new stadiums each year.

I beleive Strat uses 3 year avg's to compute their BP results, ( I can't remember where I read that, but I know I read it somewhere) So when talent changes on the teams and the results change, it changes the averages. In other words, if a team doesn't have a lot of power, it will effect the ballpark numbers for that year and start scewing them downward.
