Fave Cards of 2011 set?

Troy Tulowitzki? I know he has a high price tag but he is by far the best SS in the set.. well worth the cash

I don't see a good platoon option at 2B. It seems Utley, Beckham or Hudson are the only 2 defense to put him with and that doesn't seem that great. There are a few 3 defense guys but you would have the most money on the side of the platoon vs LHP which isn't ideal.

I think Jemile Weeks would be a wonderful platoon. He's a 2R with great stats at a great price 1.92$ (3e22 def not bad) with rodriguez as a nice defensive sub and lefty platoon.

markaskis. especially in a non power park. great fielding, arm, injury and decent ba with doubles. bat either 3 or 4 but not any further down the lineup as he doesn't have $rbis. he's 5 mil with no need to platoon. ellsbury is expensive but a 1/0 in cf and power and speed. best card by far for such and important position

kemp seems overpriced...great card, but kills you in 80 million dollar league. he's still in free agent pile in one im in.

That's exactly what I've done! They both have lots of doubles on their side of the card. And I sub Rodriguez for Weeks with a lead.

After 1/6 of a season, here are their lines against their platoon-side pitchers:

Rodriguez .391 .482 .478
Weeks .270 .349 .392

Combined, they have 6 SB, 3 CS, 7 doubles, and 2 errors. Obviously, it's not good to have a 3 at 2B vs. starting RHP, but my SS and CF are both 2's, so the effect is small.
