Extra Conservative?

I go Earl Weaver and play for the 3-run home run. Jogging is far easier than all that sprinting, so I go conservative or normal, if I am feeling daring.

I have no desire to crap like an elephant.

I usually keep my settings to Paul, or Santorum. If I am feeling daring, I will occasionally set it to Romney. 8-)

I always set mine to aggressive, the only time I would not do this is if every guy in my lineup hit 40 HRs. I play hundreds of games a week with the CD-ROM, and unless you set Base Running to "Aggressive", Hal is screwing you out of a lot of runs.

It also depends on whether you have a speedy team or not. I tend to leave mine on aggressive, adjusting as needed for really bad or really good arms, as above. [/quote:4241978207]

The computer adjusts for you, based on the outfielders' arms. If you want to win, set your base running for "aggressive".
