Fly ball verses ground ball pitcher is absolutely meaningless in strat. No matter who the pitcher there is the same exact number of rolls to each of the various positions. That is not to say defense is not important, it is. But the most extreme fly ball pitcher ever will still have 7 chances to SS and 6 chances to 2nd. Same for every other position. There are fixed number of x chances and it is the same regardless of the year or the pitchers real life gba/flyball ratio.

In your case though the park is killing your pitching as much as anything. If you are going to play in the extreme hitters parks you have to decide up front to accept a high ERA. And you have to really emphasize going after pitchers who do not have the # on their cards or at the very least it is minimal. And by minimal I do not mean 3 or less.

come on Valen it isn't meaningless. Yes there are the same number of (x) chances, but some pitchers do have more DP's (gb(A)) than others, it is not meaningless.
