Is an injury always an injury?

The official FAQ says that a player has to have 680+ PA to have injury restricted to "remainder of game". Between 600-679 PA, the FAQ says that maximum injury is 3 games. I found this out the hard way since I also have Miguel Cabrera on a team, and he has missed 11 games out of 144 played so far in that league.

[quote:be9e7e758a="UNCtarheel"] This correction would also make it impossible for part-time major league players to be perennial Stratomatic all-stars.[/quote:be9e7e758a]

It sounds like you want each player to perform just exactly like he did in real life. Are you saying that each player should play only the exact same number of games he played in real life? Maybe we shouldn't allow players to play in other parks either, or pitch a guy more innings than he pitched.

Part of the skill (and fun, IMO) of the game is identifying the bargain players who are underpriced. Who's to say what might have happened if these guys played a full season?

By the way, Tarheel--I see that Jeff Francouer is the RF on the Mayberry Mayhem.

Given your concerns about part-timers becoming all-stars, I am assuming he will only be playing in 70 games in our upcoming league.

Go 'Deacs!!
