As mentioned, Suzuki isn't a game changer. It is the principle of the thing. If I dropped Thome I don't think all of you all would be particularly pleased with that.

I hate to hold things up, but this has never been allowed in The Tour, in all drafts I've ever been in.

That said, If the Commish is comfortable in allowing this, I will have no choice but to abide by that decision. I will be disappointed, however.

Yes. You can draft once the three hours allotted the manager ahead of you has passed.

A Couple/3 questions AeroDave...

1. Divisions?

2. I assume we're not tied to these drafted players post waivers?

3. Will we FRENZY this since we already have our 25 guys? Or waivers?

Standard 1-4-7-10 East ...

Correct. You do not need to keep any of the 25 drafted players. If enough of you are ok with it, I would suggest allowing non-DD drafted players to be placed on the TSN SOM draft card as a pseudo-waivers.

Frenzy. The waivers process, while seemingly fair, turns out to be unfair for our purposes because we cannot control the waivers order.

I think we should stick with our DD draft card for SOM Draft. Otherwise we risk the invitable of someone drafting a player that someone else took in the DD Draft...then that creaetes a domino effect and throws everything out of wack...

I could be wrong (trying to inconspicuously monitor via my iPhone while at work), but I thought I saw a drop request for F. Hernandez? Kurt Suzuki was a "lesser" offense, but Hernandez may have had a big impact on one (or more) draft strategies. I'm thinking mbrake hasn't seen this thread.
