Not to open up THIS can of worms but...

Comparing the long term vets and short termers is like comparing apples and oranges.

Simply put, the guy who has been here 10 years has spent much more $ on the product.

If I had to guess right now, I'd say Nev was right. But my 2 cents says the 5 pack will be $79.99, not $49.99.

Where I'm heading though, this discount or a free credit or 2 won't matter much. I'm almost over all this, unfortunately...

We'll be ready to resume the playing of league games very soon. We're undergoing final testing, and setting up our plans for execution, and we expect to have good news for you on that soon. Please prepare your lineups, pitchers, etc. now, so you'll be ready when we do resume gameplay.

After we clear that hurdle, I'll be turning my attention to addressing all the other interface-based issues that have been raised - with our new software platform, that kind of development will be much, much faster than previously possible. In due time, everything will be even better than the way it was.

Now- I actually have faith that Bernie will make this right:

But,
The difference is that some of us are sitting here with lots of teams that are in the middle of seasons which have been completely disrupted, and some newer teams which have gotten very messed up because of the waivers issues.

I actually think a 2 tiered approach is appropriate.
The one that nev suggested PLUS the old approach which has been 1 credit for every certain amount of teams currently being played- I think it was something like:
1 for 1-3
2 for 4-6
3 for 7-9 anyway thats not 100% accurate, but something like that.

Those proportions are consistent with my recollection from when the site was down a few years ago for about 3-4 days. Of course, the unexpected delay here is much more substantial.

I feel the same way about almost being over this. I hope when the games resume, the way I feel will change. Time will tell.

Two for one

How about a two for one five pak? Which would equal the 49.95 suggested earlier. That way serious gamers like us get the deal and Strat-o gets the influx of cash that I'm sure they could use at this point in time.
Limit one per customer? More?
Happy to hear good news is coming! I handcuffed my grandson to the gameboard table and wants to be released! [/u]

Am I the only one that would hesitate to spend more money, even for discounted teams? Definite wait and see before getting the credit card out again.

I agree with you. We're still not there yet.

Yeah...first I'd like to see even one night of games successfully played, then see a full week go off without a hitch, before I even THINK about putting down another dollar.
