I thought long and hard about taking the Twins and Vlad but I still didn't think I would have enough power for that park. I went with Petco in hopes of winning a few 3-2 games. Hopefully I can get a little more help from the draft with picks 24 and 25. OK....who am I kidding. My picks suck and I am doomed!

Gene, IMO taking the Padres and Santana was the best choice you could make. You can't help having the 12th pick in the draft. You have done the best you could do and who knows......in the wild west division anything can happen!

The Padres have some decent hitting, especially as compared to the Twins, and you have now got Peavy & Santana to start 81 of your 162 games. I don't think you should throw in the towel just yet. :)

I agree with the Bombers---You made the right choice..Santana-Peavy is a great 1-2 punch and you're in a division where those two could dominate. The west will be fun to watch. I was hoping Santana made it to me (Yeah Right).. :roll:

I third that choice.... snicker snicker. That may even help my team to play in Petco a few times. I have at least 2 holes to feel. I do have 3 peolpe on my list to choose from that will hopefully allow me to contend better.

I want to pick myself to be the number 1 contender in the West. I hope to never have to play the East. I am curious to see how those heavy hitting Rangers will screw up our light hitting East Teams.
