Just for clarification. Do the players have to a 3 or worse at the position you play them at or are they not allowed to have better than 3 anywhere on their card?

From what I understand, for the position that you play them, they must be a 3 or worse defensively.

So if someone where to draft say Neifi Perez as a backup 3B (3E37). What would keep him from coming in and playing SS or 2B (a 2 at both)? Would this be against the spirit of the league? Just trying to make sure I understand the setup.

HAL can do anything he wants... but.. as long as you do not start him at SS/2B or set him to come in as a defensive replacement, then the spirit of the league and the owner is upheld.

I am in a similar league (of my own making) with a 4/5 requirmement. So far it has been going alright.

I guess that's what I was really getting at. Is it OK to have a defensive replacement that is better than a 3?
