1. JJB92-FL - 049
2. geekor - CA - 551
3. mfl536-NY - 361
4. spicki17 - va - 427

6. ironwill1 - MA/NH/ME Tri State - 339

12. Frank M - KY - 318

[b:50e028701a]Big problem[/b:50e028701a] is OR does NOT have a pick 3!! So either use the first 3 (418) of the pick 4 or give him AZ which doesn't use numbers till 10 PM PST (another half an hour)???

also, I guess for once the lotto gods smiled on me, a 551 with 3rd place? I mean that is just unheard of.

Current order depending on commish's ruling

1. toriihunter - MN - 620
2. keyzick - ct - 611
3. geekor - CA - 551
4. Hendrix08 - WI - 513

Sorry gang-I did not have access to a PC from noon yesterday till this AM.

Glad to see we are full-thanks to Geekor for posting the results.

Ruling: We will use the first 3 numbers from the Oregon "pick 4" results.

Stadium question: The first team you select is your "primary" team and that is the stadium you will use. The mix of the players on your team will not have an impact on the primary/secondary team reference.

Just a few reminders as you consider your selections.

The players associated with the teams not selected will be available in a supplmental two player draft. Although I originally indicated that we would use the pick 3 (first 3 numbers of the Oregon pick 4 results) results from the night after the draft is completed to determine the order of the supplemental draft, [b:72a82ff3bf]are there any objections to using Saturday nights drawing for that purpose? [/b:72a82ff3bf]That will reduce any potential delays in finalizing our teams. We will draft two players from the teams not selected-you control those players you draft. You do not have to add them to your roster but can do so at any point of the season. You can trade those players if you choose to do so.

You must keep exactly 25 players on your roster at all times.

The first team you draft will be your "primary" team for determining your home stadium.

Good luck except when you play my team at which point, my your good luck go into hibernation.

Toriihunter, you are on the clock!

80 million vs 100 million

Postby JOSEPHBONK » Fri May 30, 2008 8:48 am

My thought/preference is to keep this at $80 million. I believe this will help the competitive balance of the league and prevent the creation of all-star teams. At $80 million, each team will have some weaknesses and, to me, this enhances the strategy aspect of the game. I know it will be difficult for any team to pick up a superstar from an undrafted team but feel the balance of the league is better with an $80 million limit.

I'm fine with the Sat night for the supplemental draft...

also, one of the reasons I joined this so quickly was that for once it was an 80 mil draft. As this is the highest I've ever been maybe now I would like that changed, lmao

but I firmly believe that 80 mil makes it more competitive so that the teams that get taken at the beginning which have more firepower don't own the landscape.
