OK....I can't imagine any one being opposed with 5-10-20 and you bring up a good point that no one else can access the FAs available to each player anyway.

I like the decision on the 5-10-20 as well. I do have a question on trades. We basically will own the rights to all of the players on the 2 teams we draft, but we'll only be able to have 24-28 active on our roster. Can we only trade off of our active roster, or can we trade from our full team (in essence, trading the rights to a player for another)? For example, if I draft the Phillies and Angels, which means I have Rollins and Cabrera for SS, I only need one, especially for their salary, so they both would not be on my 24-28 man roster. If another manager comes to me wanting Cabrera, can I trade him even if he isn't on my active roster?

Also, how will we handle the draft, since we are drafting whole teams then supplemental players? Will we do it within this thread?

You'd have to pick up Cabrera to trade him.

One more to go. This will be my last check in after I leave for the day. If we fill today we will use tonights pick 3s (assuming they have Sunday results).

You should be able to trade off your minor league roster. Then the other person has to pick them up. If we were playing $200M, I would agree that they should have to pick them up but since it is $100M you should not have to.

I tend to disagree. You should try to get those kinds of deals done during the pre-season. Smaller $$ guys you might be able to pick up and deal during the season, but the big name guys that you know won't fit your team should be dealt early. Obviously, the best strategy is to avoid having these situations by matching your two teams like puzzle pieces.
