Bump
Franchise leagues are great! I just finished one with a couple of the guys already in this league (The Twins and the Red Sox battling it out in a seven-game series after having done away with the Rangers and the Giants in the Semis). Starting out with the lower echelon teams seems like a fantastic way of really testing your managerial skills rather than your "general manager" skills. You see how some teams almost have everything in place except for a 2B or SP or whatever. Some teams are in need of just about every position. But maybe, just maybe your capacities of lineup molding and luck of the dice will mean that the Bucs can make it through to the next round....I did say maybe.
Come on in. There's some great managers already in, if the last league was any indication, some good-natured banter, and some surprises in store.
