Ok, what about Allen Craig? Great card, but the injury rating I've been dreading!

Allen Craig, Both left and right is a 3-8 roll. Ouch. But he plays 1st, 2nd, 3rd, left, center and right field.

I was afraid of that, was hoping for a little better.

Looks like A. Escobar from the 07 set then, hopefully priced around that (better card hopefully only 5.-5.2 mil)

Giambi roll

Postby qksilver69 » Fri Feb 17, 2012 11:24 am

I would not be worried about that. His card vs RH is sick for power - one of the highest HR cards since Bonds (14.9% per the computer game). Stick him in the #4 slot in a hitter park and watch him hit 50+ HR despite the roll.

Hey guys, just a quick note to say I'm too swamped with the site rebuild/Strat-O-Matic.com transition to be playing pitchman for the 2011 set this year, but FYI: as of now, the new set is on track for a beginning-of-March launch as usual.

If I find some free minutes over the next few weeks I'll try to post some card previews, but I can't promise anything.

I'll peg him at 4.8 and one of the more valuable cards in the set.

Shelley Duncan is a 2-12 roll HBP.
Buster Posey is a 3-7, in case anyone was wondering.

[quote:ba8fc68bbf="buzz082308"]Well, if the card looks like the card on the Windows game. Giambi's injury is a 1-11. Want to trade?[/quote:ba8fc68bbf]

buzz, i just got the ratings book in the mail and it has Giambi as a "1" injury player. You're describing a "2".
