Sykes,
I am not a complainer. I wasnt saying anything in the posts until, I kept reading all the "good" comments in the forum. Which I still dont understand. I havent asked for my money back, and I stated it didnt affect me, but to give Bernie kudos or say good job, or thanks for all the hard work isnt right either. I dont know what type of job you have, but if you screw up, what does your boss say? Does he give you kudos? Does he? Think about it.

As for getting a tape measure out and seeing who is bigger...since you have an MVP rating and something tells me you spend a lot of time in front of the computer, I doubt I have much to worry about...

Besides, by the tone of your passive post and the do nothing attitude...I am just 1 guy posting in a room full of people, so based on your logic, why say anything back?

Well, I think we all have to recognize that Bernie is our guy in what I have heard is a big bureaucracy. I have been where Bernie is in aniother job, that is a singleton kind of lost in a bigger commercial firm and it is hard. You are there alone trying to make improvements to what was already a pretty good product. No doubt it was making money and the loyalty here is better than other places.

For me the other way to look at it is why try and make the product better if whenever something fails everyone jumps on you? It works pretty well and most people aren't clamoring for major changes, except I happen to like the upgrades from 2005 to 2006 so I appreciate Bernie taking some risks. If they go astray once in awhile that I will roll with it. To me it is better than getting safe and uninterested in improvements.

I try and distinguish between what I think are AI shortcomings from the work the people at SI do. I want the simulation to be the very best it can be and I think it can improve but the people factor is more important. I want Bernie to try and make improvements. I will live with the consequences.

There is nothing wrong with criticism I suppose. Everyone has the right to feel that way. We did pay for a product. For me, the product is about more than running the games every night, we joke, we help each other, we bitch usually in good fun. The point is this is a kind of community that does run on good will. I don't think it is akin to a restaurant, rather it's more like a golf club to me, and if I have to play 17 hole course for two weeks while we get a neat 18th and then they tell me well we screwed up and it will take one more week I think I just have to try and make the best of it. I don't want Bernie to feel that he is by himself. So that's my two cents worth.

That's some funny stuff there. Us Italians from North Jersey don't feel the need to associate our "members" to time spent playing SOM.

I'm a manager in Client Relations for the 3rd largest brokerage firm in the nation. I run a call center and work on regulatory projects and bring in over 6 figures a year. I've been in the industry for over 10 years and being a boss allows me the luxury to work on my SOM teams between my "Badas" and "Bings". My financial situation permits me a luxury to purchase a lot of SOM teams which brings me a "MVP" rating. Sorry this upsets you.

Unless you can prove Bernie sits on his arse instead of addressing SOM issues, STFU and have a nice day.
