New league forming...Vets vs. the rooks!

Tyber, good to see you around (as always). I'd join up by I've drastically cut-down on my # of teams, plus with a vac. in December I didn't want any teams going on to fool with...Plan on keeping the laptop closed. :D

Great to hear from ya Jeepster! I know how it goes with having too many teams. Been there, done that. Plus after my long hiatus I need to refamiliarize myself with the game. Got two teams going right now and they're both rollercoaster rides! :roll:

I played against you a couple times when I first discovered Strat
Online. My teams always had the "Ashby" in front of it. I did not
play a single game of 2004, I just signed up to try 2005 for the first
time. All in all I've only played 6/2001's, 7/2004's, 1 80's, and 1 2003.

I do remember you being very involved in the leagues I was in
with you and they were alot of fun. I'd gladly join this one if you have
a place for me. I'd call myself a rookie, as I think the amount of
teams I've had is very low by "veteran" standards !!

Let me know, because I'll play if you'll let me !!

Truth be known, when it comes to the 05 cards, I'm pretty much a rookie myself. My first team is underway but not faring as I expected so this will be a pretty level playing field.

So all we need now is 3 more Vets and 2 more "rookies". I would think the rookies will be easier to find than the Vets. A rookie is much more likely to have the time to join "1" league and manage a team, where a
Vet more than likely is already in 3 or 4 Leagues and pretty much "maxed" out on his free time to join another. So maybe we'll be waiting for a few of the "Vets" to finish up some of their current seasons and then they'll be around to join.... Right ?

I'm in no hurry, so I'll wait around as long as it takes for this league
to fill up. Looking forward to being involved in a league where you pretty much know that you'll learn something, and if not, at least you'"ll have fun because most of these Vets are great at being "active" on the message boards and keeping the League "interesting" with their banter !!
