If we are going to have a $200 million cap and a 40 man roster then count me out, I thought it was going to be a basic league with a real cap and roster, In a $200 cap league it has nothing to do with stratagy in the draft!

You don't understand the keeper aspect then, the idea is to be a like a real GM, do you just load up on the best cards for this year and forgo the future or do you draft young guys first. Believe me in a keeper league the first round isn't what you'd think it is.

That said I don't want to cause 2 drop outs becuase this is my preference. As I stated I'm only a provisional if thats the way the league is gonna go. If it's not then I'm out. 80 mil keepers are BORING IMHO, But it's only my opionion.
Don't drop out becuase of what I posted because nothing has been decided, We really need the guy that started this to weigh in and let us know if any form of this league is a go.

If it's not and there are enough of you willing to use my format I'll be commisioner for another keeper league.

There is MUCH more strategy in the 100 and 200 mil keepers. There is hardly any strategy in an 80mil. An owner who values the players- current and future will benefit in the 100 and 200 but will be near meaningless in the 80. If players take their future picks in an 80 mil and I scrape up what is left, well i have almost the same chance as anyone else. If you get your picks in the 100 and 200 and I scrape with what is left I would be lucky to win 50 games.

As a current owner of 4 long term keeper teams, I can state that the 200 million cap is the way to go. The strategy aspects are tremendous in a 200M league.

I'm gonna give watts until Monday, who knows he may be a victim of the bad storms down south, and be with out power.
If he doesn't show by Monday, I'll start and be commisioner for USKL III- Unlimited Salary Keeper League Three.
I must be nuts :shock:

KD you are sure welcome, and I think there will be room, but I want to give as many of the guys that signed up here first a chance before we take in others. So for now I'll consider you first alternate.
