[quote:771dc86ae5="kaviksdad"] As a survivor of a drunk driver, I can only hope that we can finally do something to stop this epidemic of stupidity.[/quote:771dc86ae5]
"[i:771dc86ae5]God what a tragedy. Great young man with a high upside - everything looked like it was coming together and then this." [/i:771dc86ae5]
I hear what youre saying "kaviksdad". You wonder when will people learn; what it will take to get these unscrupulous, demented drivers off the road if they dont have a valid license--suspended license means don't drive anytime period!
Life can change in an instant. It did for 22 yrs young Nick Adenhart. Two others, including the female driver of Adenhart's automobile, were also killed in the collision. A fourth person is hospitalized in critical condition.
Now Im the first to emphasize stats hardly matter at a time like this, in light of one's sudden death. However, I'll say he shutout the A's for 6 innings Wed evening, [i:771dc86ae5]only to illustrate his tremendous potential[/i:771dc86ae5].
Nick realized his dream of pitching in the major leagues. He made it to "the Show".
He'll be remembered fondly by the Angels family & its extended family, including Angels fans & baseball fans across the country. RIP all.
