Newbie question:

Using this as an example:
I bid 40.5 on Young. If I were to trade him on Penn's site, would the recipient be required to have 40.5 million left in cap space?

No. It's ok if a trade puts the recipiant over cap. Of course he couldn't add anyone else 'till he got under again, but it's ok if the trade itself puts you over.

I just dropped a player, because I saw that Minute Maid Field became available, and was a fraction of a second away from completing an opening bid on the stadium because it fits my team better than the one I have.

Anyone else catch that?

1 - Foggy, I got Dye or Sheff available (I think you were looking for a RF), if you can see somewhere I could improve my squad as well as yours holler at me.

2 - If anyone is interested in Iguchi I would love to swap him out for a lesser salaried 2B in order to free cap space.

3 - Smoltzie is in the Minors at the moment looking for a spot on my team that's not there. Give me a shout if anyone has interest in the future Hall of Famer.
