Do we have to pick an AL ballpark? I don't remember what we did in the NL Only league.

Yes. You have to pick an AL ballpark, but you do not (and cannot) pick one during the DD draft.

I don't remember how Adrian deals with that on Diamond Dope, but I'm guessing some sort of fail-safe has been inserted to prevent drafting over the cap limit. Maybe someone else with more experience can chime in.
Obviously, you can see how much money you've spent right on the page since it tells you the drafted team's salary and how much $$ you have left. I think personal responsibility will have to prevail; a tall order amongst some of these managers :roll:

In case anyone is worried about me in particular, I have a very specific plan with MANY contingencies. I'll finish below $60m by the end of the DD draft. I've played a few $60m leagues before so I know what I can get away with. Of course, winning with that roster is a different story (as you can see in the NL Only League).....
