I just noticed that we have a undercover assassin in this league!! Yes, the seemingly innocent Quirks is nothing of the kind!
He has the highest percentage of Championship teams and playoffs teams that I have come across!!!

Quirks, it makes us all feel better that your 1 and only 2006 team won the world series! :wink:
By the way, I have fond memories of watching Quirk play when I lived in KC in '87 and '88. He was an automatic out vs. lefties, but he had a little pop in his bat at times vs. righties. Not many of us on these boards have their screenname named after a career .240 hitter with 42 homeruns. :D
However, it's amazing how a fond memory can stick after 15 years.
How on earth did Quirk hit double off a nasty left hander?? Your opponent must also still be thinking about it as well!! The baseball gods were with you that day!!

And shoot, don't you think my screen name kinda looks to be named after George "Doc" Medich, or even Doc White. 8)
Naaaaaaaaaaaaa, but I was at the game in Atlanta when Pascuel Perez kept missing the stadium exit on I-285 and drove around either 2 or 3 times I think. Guess thats my one claim to fame in MLB... oh yeah.. I did see HAnk Aaron hit # 722 :!: :!: :!:
