i believe that a live draft is the best way to go and the only players available are from the 6 open teams. doing autodraft will cause much confusion. A 5 or 6 player draft should not take too long.

Frank what is the randomizer? Can you give a little more detail.. Sounds great, and it will save us alot of time, effort and coordination.. I'm fine with you running it, I will follow what the league wants to do..

The randomizer allows us to set the draft up using the teams we picked. You picked the Cubs/White Sox you are #2. I have the LA team I am #3. I take the #'s 1 to 12 place them in the randomizer which is online and I get a draft order. The draft order is then set-up Serpentine based on your team #. I can run the #'s for the draft order. Just let me know.

Frank just to confirm the randomizer will give us the order to draft the free agent players via a live draft.. Any ideas on how we can avoid the need for the live draft altogether, and address the problem with auto draft?

The only way I see doing this is drafting your teams. And then setting up the live draft in the league. The problem I see is that you would have to keep tabs of your salary cap in the league. But if you draft prior to the auto-draft you can keep tabs on your salary cap more readily.

I'm perfectly content with the randomizer. Fine by me. Let's get this moving. If it's five rounds of drafting we should get going immediately.
