The Pre-Mature 1986 Release League

Postby LMBombers » Wed Feb 20, 2008 10:06 pm

At this point I do not like the live draft either. I either can't see the full screen or I can't figure out how to scroll down the page to see all the teams and who they have picked. One other downfall (beside the lack of salaries for the players) is the fact that I can't access it at work due to the company firewall.

I can't do a live draft using that feature. Please look for a replacement for me now if that is what we are going to use to draft our teams.

I am willing to do a live draft on the boards if necessary or do the normal AD but I'm not ready for this live draft feature. Who knows when MajorDeegan would have this player set loaded on his website either.

I thought we were doing a live draft on the boards? If so we can start and hopefully finish by next week. I'm 4th but I am perfectly willing to move up to 1 if we can get this party started!!!

I am pick 1...I thought we're waiting for the game to rollout? I haven't had a chance to look at the mock draft site, and it's down this mornign til 9am EST.

I won't be able to revisit the boards til after work (6pm EST) today, so let me know if I should start the draft on the boards, and if so, where am I finding the cards with their prices?

Guys,

We are not going to use the new Live Draft. I don't like it.

I wanted to wait till the cards came out to start the draft on the boards. They will roll ou the new cards next Wednesday, the 27th.

Here are the cards.

However, if the majority of managers want to start drafting now, so be it. I'm game.

I will be out of the loop from noon Feb 28 through afternoon of 30th. Trade conference so my days are dedicated...I may have some access in the evenings.

So it seems as though it would be better if we started now, in splinter's case.

LMBombers is fine with that.

So am I.

Is anyone [b:5951842c8a]not[/b:5951842c8a] OK with starting now?

My only problem with starting now is we don't know the prices of the players. We would have to switch it to $100 million OR keep it at $80 and drop players to get under the cap.

if you go to the live draft site, order by rank, rank = salary.

This game is all about value for your dollar. I don't think it would make sense to draft without prices.
