My Favorites with marginal experience,

J. Santana, worth the money (Pitched great at Busch)
JD. Closser --Worth the Passed balls for the Ave.
Crosby for the Money at SS. (not that good of ave, but quite a bit of Pop)
Pujols besides the homers, a virtual doubles machine
C. Utley for Platooning at 2nd great value
Jason Marquis for the money as 4or 5 starter.

Hated....

M. Mulder
C. Carpenter
C. Pavano
Sosa
J. Jenkins

Just all dissappointing... didn't give them much of a chance, pulled the trigger quick on these guys.

Value players. All hitters costs less than 1 Mil, and may be injury prone. Pitchers over 1 Mil show price. I shall attempt to not repeat what others said:

Hitters
1. Eric Young : 55 OB chances verses LP
2 Alex Sanchez : Hit 371 and 349 for me in a "reverse" platoon.
3. Jason Giambi : Use like Alex above. Murder in lefty parks.
4. Jeffrey Hammonds
5. Jay Payton

Pitchers
1. Danny Haren (1.6M) : Fakes out opponents. Had sub/low 3 ERAs.
2. Duaner Sanchez
3. Scott Atchison : These two always posted an ERA for me below 4.
4. Eddie Guardado (3.53M) : Don't use in parks conducive to RH
5. Troy Percival (1.76M) : Guardado's Righty alterego. Stats for both were remarkable. (Sub/low 2 ERAs, 95% Save rate)

Dislikes : see other posts, but Tom Gordon (7.48 M) tanked for me, given the cost. Also, many catchers suck.

Retreads too good not to mention again: Freel, Glaus, Isringhausen

Tough to retire v LP : Robb Quinlan and Marcus Giles have the best cards this side of Barry Bonds.
