Beginning to wonder about our missing manager...He has made no posts on this thread at all....Hope everything is ok and he ios just busy. Has anyone else talked with him

I don't understand. How could anyone NOT want to use a credit to play the Angels in this upcoming league? :?

I will give him until tommorow morning and if we still have not heard from him we'll find a replacement manager.....Trying to find a manager to play the Angels in this league may be a tough sell, so what I propose is to let him have his pick of any of the franchises he wants from league 1 and 2....And since we are voiding the original rule I also think we should let Milwaukee, Toronto, and the Dodgers pick off the same list if they prefer to do it. What are your thoughts...I am trying to be fair to original managers while making it more enticing to find a replacement.

I think the only way we could get a replacement manager is to let them pick a different team. If we do that I also agree that the other 3 managers that didn't get to pick should also be able to pick a different team if they want to.

How would we determine the draft order?

I'm hoping evanthomas is just having a ridiculously fun weekend and isn't bailing, because that would be really bad if he is.

My suggestion (which is worth the paper it's printed on): If we have to get a replacement manager who won't take the Halos outright, I think we should do state lotto to determine the draft order to replace the 4 Finals teams. If it's just a case of sour grapes where someone is holding out for a replacement pick, I think that should be handled differently.

Again, just my two cents not knowing what is going on yet. I'm hoping he's on a hot streak in Vegas!!

Let me clarify; if evanthomas checks in by 11am tommorow, league will continue with original rules...if by then he has not checked in ....he is out...and we will look for a replacement and let the other 3 teams have the option of playing another team....he will not be allowed to appear at the last minute and get a new team....it is angels or nothing for him....if he hasn't checked in tommorow morning we'll deal with a replacement and how to proceed with the draft.

Don't know where Evanthomas lives...but here in CT over 60% of the state is without power from Saturday night's snowstorm.

Of course, he's been MIA since before that thought, but thought I'd throw it out there...

OK...Here we go....Evanthomas is out and we are now looking for a replacement...I will post a new thread and explain the situation..Now, as for Milwaukee, Toronto, and the Dodgers, I need to know wheter you want to keep your team or re pick a different team. Once our replacement is named and a decision is made by the other 3 teams we will do state lotto for the involved teams, high to low..Lets get started.
