It is good to see that a POPE can be rescurrected. Glad to have the old guy's back and I would like to welcome any new blood as well. SGT D

I'll go ahead and start a different "seeking two more teams" thread tonight if we don't get any of the "old guard" signing up today.

Okay, now that we are close to filling, is their a final decision on the live draft portion? I want to know b/c like I said I cannot do it from work and proxies certainly make the whole process less enjoyable so I was hoping for either a weekend rampage where we draft as many rounds as possible over a weekend and the rest autodraft or do like 5-10 live rds during the week with some flexibility of time limits for those of us who cannot draft during the day. Sorry if I seem difficult, I have just been hoping to find a group that might be a little flexible and you guys seem to be cool like that 8)

Is this for a 2006 season (2005 stats)? If so, what are the specifics. If weekend or flexible draft I would love to get in on it. Like the last post, weekdays can be difficult. This would be my first live draft so a little assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

nothings been finalized yet with the draft, although ID prefer about 15 rounds live, leave the clock ON on weekends, think if we make it a six hour clock that should be flexible enough and something like 10am to 10 pm estrn. if you have to proxy once or twice, so be it, but with a six hour window, you're not likely to miss more than a pick or two. I just did a live draft almost completely by proxy, and while i'd rather pick em as I see em, got atleast as good a team as I would have live. let's wait til tom comes back sunday to officially fill, since he may be the only one with contracts for the colonel and whomever else we may be missing. im sure riggo would play again, but that only leaves three postseason positions for the eleven others to battle over.

add catom to the heading, he's usually automatic for multi leagues...fenway sean also makes the occassional appearance.

Oh, sure, Ducapa, we're a cool bunch. That's why we spend our free time playing online computerized baseball dice games.

If you wanted to volunteer for the 12th-13th spots in the draft, Ducapa, that might work out better for you. That way the rest of the league could get through two rounds and you wouldn't need to worry about holding us up. I imagine that we could make an exception to the typical "pick 3" ordering if you don't mind going last in round 1.

Meat, we were discussing 14 rounds (13 players and a unique stadium) earlier, with the rest autodrafted. Sixteen rounds (15 players + stadium) is fine with me, though. Tom started the thread; I'll let him make the official pronouncement upon his return.

acuraRL, it is 2006 (2005 stats). I will try to recap in another message.

if you guys don't mind someone new in your group, then count me in. I live in Ohio. Do I need to buy my team now or do I wait until after the draft? Do you guys just fill out this thread or do you go to a website like with yahoo live baseball fantasy drafts?
