Just heard back. He's *NOT* interested in a Franchise league.

The search goes on ...

I think the new owner can have either the A's ... or any other franchise that he can create that isn't already taken (for example: is the Orioles/Browns gone? Mets+[SOMETHING MET-LIKE]?). I believe (but am not certain) that a certain degree of flexibility is granted as to what constitutes a "franchise" as long as their is some arguable connection between the teams drafted from.

Yo.

I think I'm down, let me finish reading the thread to see what the theme/rules are.

This is an ATG3 league correct?

If you'll have me I'm in.

Would I be getting all the A's franchises? Philly and Oakland?

Also, I've got some experience playing in a franchise league, so I can answer some of your questions. Whether you want me or not.

And, yes, all the A's franchises would be yours. And, in a controversial recommendation, I say let him now UNLESS somebody objects ... quickly. Let's get this thing going tonight!

One last question, can I pick Shibe '50 as my ball park?

It's listed under the Phillies, but the A's also played there. It seems silly that the A's can't play there, but I'd understand if you guys object.

Never played there before, but, obviously, I want it because it fits my ball club better.

I'll do whatever you say.

Also, I can enter a team in about 20min.

I'm gonna have a smoke, let me know what you guys want. I'll keep monitering.

P.S. BusterJRatt will vouch for me.
