As we wrap up the live draft I would like to know how you guys want to handle the remaining free agent opportunities.. As stated earlier on the thread, I proposed each roster can have a maximum of 4 players from the free agent pool of (Pitt, Balt, SFG, FLA, KC, Tex). After the live draft we will each have 2 players.. I did not anticipate using the waivers system since almost every player is exclusive to an assigned team.. Also to confirm the 2 live drafted free agents are exclusive up to the Auto-Draft.. If you release a player you drafted in the live draft, they are a free agent to the rest of the league. Agreed?

How and when do allocate the next 2 players for teams that may want a few more free agents..

Option 1: pick up your additional player or 2 in the Auto Draft when you load your team. Put the player(s) high on your list because someone else could draft them

Option 2: everyone loads up with only their base team players + the 2 drafted free agents... You can pick up the other 2 players in the Frenzy period once the Auto-Draft runs, but before the season starts to avoid incurring the salary penalty..

I vote for option 1, as it would make it easier for us that cannot live on the web for the FA frenzy after the draft.

I vote for option 1. Let Auto Draft sort it out. The only problem with that is someone might not get the player they want and they would end up with a player that is someone elses property.

I don't really think it matters all that much how we do the last 2 players. Don't think there is that much talent left to make a big difference to any team.
I think the point about the auto draft causing issues is a good one. My vote leans to option 2.
