My prediction for waivers. How we enter is when we draft. No one should lose any players and I have enter leagues of this type. So if you enter 1st you have 1st pick in waivers and last if you enter last. This is my experience from the past not sure if Hal throws a curve ball and randomizes the draft order.

At the risk of inviting huge laughter and derision directed at myself, I am going to open the floor for informal, unprocessed trade talks, by asking if someone would be interested in trading the Arizona Dbacks a starting pitcher.
I understand we can't process trades until after the waiver draft, and managers may not want to make a final commitment until after waivers, but unless mbrake says we shouldn't do informal trade talks beforehand, I don't see any harm. You can send me a private message using this website, if you are interested.
mbrake, are you OK with informal, not processed, trade talks before waivers?
The Dbacks have a lot of good relievers and some good hitters. 1b (including Ryall, unleashed) and left field (including Oeltjen, unleashed) are potentially available, as well as almost any RP, for the right SP. Other offers (for other players) will also be considered. The only player who I am really unlikely to trade is Adam Jones.
I'll enter the Arizona Dbacks within the hour.

need White Sox & Dbacks to load Central, so please get ready Midwest teams. Please check in frequently and have your auto-draft que done in advannce so you only have to enter your team when your division is ready. If Frank M is correct, it behooves you to be prompt!

I allowed draft pick trades, so I have zero problem with "informal" trade discussions taking place. Set the ground work all you want. If you think you have SP problems, check out the Twin's putrid staff including K. Slowey, C. Pavano & F. Liriano. Pitching is overrated, right? Please say right, bcause waivers and free-agency is going to be ugly! :cry:

I must say that - even if the waivers and free-agency are ugly - the trading can be interesting in these types of leagues. Although I prefer $60mil for 24 team leagues, I am thinking and hoping (for the fun and liquidity of the free agent market) that there is a big difference here with the unleashed players added. This SHOULD add enough $ for 24 teams and $80 mil to make a little more movement. But, anyway, in the 2008 24 team $80 mil league I was in before, there was a surprising amount of trading - lots of interesting trades. So I am hoping for the overall fun element for this league that there will be some good trading going on, even with the 19 carded player requirement.
Personally, I can see myself trying to pick up a few of those cheap DBack players (with a >25 player roster) to keep some liquidity for the ability to trade during the season!
