10th Annual OPENING DAY LEAGUE now expanding to 24 teams!

I've thought about it, and while I had and still have no objection to a 24 team league I have just realized that I have never done a 24 team league.

That, along with this being one of the first 2011 seasons I'd be doing, means I now feel I would not be as comfortable as I first thought. Also, the fact that several players that I enjoy competing against (Stoney, visick & Jeep) have pulled out because it is a 24 team league has convinced me to do the same.

That may seem confusing but I mean what I say - I have absolutely no objection to the Opening Day League being a 24 team league ... I simply personally do not feel comfortable enough to participate, and the loss of key owners just seals the deal.

Its been a great run, but if qksilver can leave NLD after 29 seasons, I am confident Opening Day can carry on without my participation either. :)

Yeah Splint...agreed. Weird that the wily vets are the ones falling by the wayside. Don't worry, I got your back. I'll create 9 teams for the league if I have to. 8-)
