Tried to send a link but the page says error and it won't let me so I'll type it out..

Rotation:
John Smoltz
Jake Peavy
Estaban Loaiza
Jason Johnson

Jamie Moyer--LH spot starter

Bullpen:
Chris Reitsma
Danys Baez
Ron Villine
Scott Shields--Set up both ways
Todd Jones--closer

Lineups: vs LH

M. Loretta 2b
P. Polanco 3b
M. Young ss
M. Alou DH
J. Francour RF
R. Winn CF
L. Overbay 1b
M. Matheney C
C. Crawford LF

Lineups: vs RH

C. Crawford LF
R. Winn CF
M. Young ss
M. Alou DH
L. Overbay 1b
J. Francour RF
AJ Pierzinski C
M. Loretta 2b
P. Polanco 3b

Bench:
R. Mackowiak
E Renteria
P. Feliz
S. Taguchi

I know Loretta will be injured so my plan is to move Polanco to 2b and go with Mackowiak and Feliz at 3d while he is injured...I like the OBP and with six .300 hitters the team looks pretty good to me...Although I may be wrong as I have never played a Petco...I don't figure anyone will have a problem with Smoltz and Peavy, but the reson I have Loaiza and JJ as 3 & 4---They have both been outstanding for me in other leagues....Would like to hear comments on this team for a Petco Rookie.

OH Yeah---Parks within my div--
Miller
US Cell
SBC

There are a total of 4 petco's and 2 or 3 Kaufmanns so I figue this could be a pitcher league.

Larry - few thoughts for you to chew on...

T Jones not so great as Petco closer. Too many singles. I'd opt for one of the guys who dangles a little BPHR but otherhwise shuts it down.

Smoltz & Peavy great, but maybe too "good" for your park, depending on how much you want to lean on the advantage your park offers. Just saying you could go cheaper and spend more on your lineup.

You're looking great vs LHP but I think you need some better and bigger bats vs RHP. Alou is tremendous when healthy, Gooch is a very expensive bench guy. Franties too unbalanced. I'd revamp your OF.

Defense up the middle might be a concern.

2 cents expired. Good luck and go get em!

Thanks Randy and Mark for the replys....Here is what I've done...Agree with both of you about defense up the middle..And about weak vs RH...Funny how things look great until someone says something then you realize they are right and you have overlooked something...Here are the changes I've made...Dropped Francour--JJ--Winn--Overbay--Todd Jones and Tad Iguchi....Replaced them with Jose Guillen--D Erstad--A. Rowand--J. Cantu--Brian Fuentes and Randy Johnson.....Cantu and Guillen should help vs RH--Rowand is a 1 in CF and I am gonna lead him off vs LH instead of Loretta....Fuentes and Baez in a platoon at closer with Shields setting up both ways....And Randy Johnson was there and as Bombers knows I can't help myself when it comes to pitching :D Just couldn't let him get by me...So now will have a rotation of..Smoltz-Peavy--RJ--Loaiza... Now that is what I like. :!: Oh Yeah Picked up Gary Matthews as well for my extra OF..May bat and play RF vs LH..

Loretta has 52.1 OB chances vs. LH's while Rowand has 40.7.

Loretta should be your leadoff guy vs. LH's.
