Basic Premise is that you select a team and can AutoDraft any player that has ever played for them.
[b:2baa49ef2b]The Rules:[/b:2baa49ef2b]

1. When signing up, choose a pick 3 state for Team selection draft order. (low to high)

2. 80M, DH, Adavance Skill level

3. After team selection, there will be a 3 round draft of FA from unselected teams whose players[b:2baa49ef2b] DO NOT [/b:2baa49ef2b]qualify for [b:2baa49ef2b]ANY [/b:2baa49ef2b]other selected franchise. (example.. if no one chooses Colorado, then Todd Helton can be live drafted by anyone.) You MUST include all live drafted players on your AD card. The order for this draft will be by the combined records of your franchise for the years 2000-2004 (low to high).
Here is a link where you can check a player's history.

4 .After the FA draft, there will be an AD. You may auto draft any player that has ever played for your selected franchise's Majpr League Team. (Example... Gary Sheffield can be auto drafted by NYY, ATL, LAD, FLA, SD, or MIL and may ONLY play for one of those teams).
A player who has joined a team for the first time in 2005 [b:2baa49ef2b]DOES NOT [/b:2baa49ef2b]qualify for that team. (Example... Tim Hudson is not available to ATL and Mark Mulder is not available to STL)

5. You may only carry 3 non-franchise related players on your roster.

6. You MUST play in your franchises home park.

7. You must name your team after your franchise in some obvious manner.

8. Divisions will be determined by compiled franchise wins from 2000-2004. Top 4 toogether, second four, lowest four.

I am assuming that only Major League history counts. Doesn't count if player was in minor leagues for one team but never made it to the Bigs with that team. Please confirm.

Also please confirm that this relates to stats through 2004, not this year. So if a player started to play for a new team in 2005 that team does not qualify.

Sandlot take a look at the original post which has been edited to answer one of our questions. If players changed teams starting in 2005 that team is not elligible for this theme.

I still would like an answer to my question about if a player played in the minor leagues for one team but never made it to the Bigs before being sent to another team does that count. I hope not because that would be too hard to research for me.

Answers added:

1. Players playing for a franchise for first time real MLB in 2005 do not count as eligible... ie Randy Johnson can not be drafted by NYY.

2. Player must have made it to the majors for a franchise to count as eligible for that franchise.
