Betemit and Peralta ????

Has anyone used these two this year?

I have a Coors team with no other shortstop and most likely will dump them, but wanted to know if anyone had any input on them???

My worries obviously are defense, but the power and obp are hard to do away with.

Also won't really have a lead off hitter.

I am pre waivers.

I am trying a Coors team with a "4"(Cedeno) at SS. I carefully orchestrated my draft knowing this beforehand though. You can not, IMO, play Kent at 2B AND a "4" at SS. It will be too much of a burden on your staff.

You and I are in the same division.

I was wondering about the Cedeno at short for you.

I am stuck, I will have to upgrade short 4 sure. I used Furcal and Kent and while they had alot of errors they turned 219 DP in one season closest to that was 177. I was rather suprised by the number of DP's.

But Furcal belongs to JKolak at Petco.

My thinking is to get a short off of waivers (hopefully) and dump Peralta and Betemit and get a DH or other position player.

Betemit has bad clutch and 0 BPHR's.

Not a good combo, especialy the 0 BPHR's in Coors.

I wanted to try the four. Everyone says you can't win with a "4" at SS, CF, Etc. I have great IF "D" otherwise. I never noticed Cedeno before, but he's pretty good for $.50.
