How to use a premier Closer?

I have played about 20 strat leagues between 80's, 05 and 06. I just started a team in 06 and picked up Mariano Rivera. This is the first time I have had a "elite" closer, usually going with mid-range closers that have been effective for me in the past. So I have seen alot of people talk about using top closers in setup and closer roles. Is this the best way to use someone like this?

I have had Rivera and Wagner a total of 6-8 times. I set them as set up and closer both ways with slow hook and avoid blow outs. I have been getting spectacular results. They are saving about 90% and winning at about the same clip. I use them as set up to get them in as many close games as possible. I have been considering changing the "don't use before the eigth inning" setting I currently use, but I don't want to get greedy and ruin the great results I'm currently getting.
