newbie seeking advice on good left fielder for Jacobs field

any advice on this topic or other advice on assembled team greatly appreciated! (am in the waivers period.)

If your division, then League will pitch lefties over 1/3rd of the time, Matsui is fine. If dominated by 3/4 righties, take a look at Winn, a nice all around player, gets on base, hit an occasional homerun, can run, steal, field, bunt, H&R, (arm is weak, but since he's in LF, it doesn't detract as much from his value). A nice #2 hitter who doesn't ground into many DP's.

I think there is a lot of great Jacob-values in the 3M range for lf, Langerhans, Wilkerson, Reed Johnson. But given that you still have 11M to spend, I would probably keep Matsui as well. Not a bad value at all, and his 0 injury gives you more flexibility for platoons.
