First time to finals, I need strategy advice!

Hello: My starting CF and best hitter (Mora- am in 2003 league) is injured game 1 & 2 of Finals. Have to play a CF-3 scrub in his place. Am thinking of saving my best *SP (Prior) for game 3 and game 7 when whole team is hopefully healthy vs. keeping my rotation intact and starting Prior in Game 1. Would greatly appreciate any thoughts by those who have "been there". MANY THANKS!!

My first impression is that you should throw Prior in games 1 and 5. You may be eliminated before you get to game 7 and then you would be wishing that you had Prior pitch twice.

you still have halladay. u can't concede the first 2 games and expect to win 4 of 5. i wouldnt factor in mora's absence when deciding the rotation.
