I may be headed for my first playoffs, and I'm trying to get a sense of who to prepare for. How are playoff pairings determined? Is it
1. The highest percentage team vs' the lowest percentage team, regardless of wild card?
2. The highest percentage team vs. the wild card, regardless of division?
or 3. The highest perecentage team vs. the wild card, unless that team is in the their division, in which case the second highest percentage team plays the wild card?

Highest Pct Team always plays the wildcard, regardless of division.

Wildcard team will NEVER have home-field advantage in any series.
