My friend gave me this link:
http://www.deadspin.com/sports/top/was-this-why-harold-got-the-axe-189733.php
as the "Official" Unofficial reason.
If any of you have read the book [i:c56d7e071f]ESPN the Uncensored History[/i:c56d7e071f] this shouldn't come as a huge suprise to you as apparently there's a culture that exists there that allows this sort of thing.
In fact you may be MORE suprised that Harold actually got the axe.

I heard someone say they laughed when they heard another person say they didn't belive in "Karma". The response was, "hey belief is not really the issue - it's a law!"
Kinda' like gravity is a law.
This is bad for Harold's family.
Having said that, I won't miss him on the air. Too much attitude for me.

Harold Reynolds Defends Actions, Hopes To Return To ESPN
Reynolds Hopes To Regain Job At ESPN
Following Dismissal For Sexual Harassment
After being fired by ESPN for alleged sexual harassment, former “Baseball
Tonight” analyst Harold Reynolds “doesn’t think he did anything wrong and is
still hoping to regain his job,” according to Andrew Marchand of the N.Y. POST.
Reynolds: “This was a total misunderstanding. My goal is to sit down and get
back. To be honest with you, I gave a woman a hug and I felt like it was
misinterpreted.” Reynolds declined to give any more details, but sources said that
the accuser works at ESPN. ESPN confirmed that Reynolds had been fired, but “
would not comment any further.” Marchand notes ESPN has been “vigilant about
sexual harassment because it reportedly has been a problem in Bristol for years”
(N.Y. POST, 7/26). NEWSDAY’s Neil Best reports, “Three people who work at
ESPN and were familiar with the case said the cause was a pattern of sexual
harassment, apparently culminating in a recent incident involving one of the
network's young production assistants” (NEWSDAY, 7/26). ESPN Senior VP/Consumer
Communications Chris LaPlaca: “(Reynolds) is no longer working for the company.
That's all we are saying" (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 7/26). ESPN’s “SportsCenter”
mentioned the story yesterday.

Let's see......Michael Irvin can be caught "holding drugs" for a friend and just get suspended, yet Harold Reynolds is ousted for an extra squeeze and a rub on a hug????
What else can you expect from the Mickey Mouse network????/
