Why is it that certain states are not eligible to receive "prizes?" I just won my first round playoff series in my league and didn't see a free credit yet, so I went into the FAQ and at the bottom I noticed that about 10 states aren't able to win prizes. I don't understand why this is the case.

All new players from the states listed are frightened by this at first. I live in one of those states and went through the exact same feelings as you just did.

Relax, everybody gets credits no matter what state you live in. All credits are posted on Fridays. You will get an email when you receive your credit.

So what prizes are they referring to then?

The free credits.

back in the old days they used to send checks (and some games they still do). That is bascially gambling (winning actual money) and that won't fly in some states.

Credits on the other hand... it like pachinko :P
