Pedro's line pretty much speaks for itself: 13 IP, 8 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 12 K... but you've gotta be wondering what in the world happened to the Oldtyme Yanks' bullpen in the previous few games. In the bottom of the 10th, after he'd given up a go-ahead run to the visiting Philly Phanatics, his team rallied to tie it back up at 3, and were VERY close to winning the game on the same play, but Todd Walker was thrown out at the plate trying to score from 1st on Matt Diaz's double. The game was ultimately decided in the bottom of the 13th, much to the delight of Pedro's poor right elbow, as Diaz made sure this time to get the run in from 1st, lacing a triple to score Gary Sheffield.

12 inning shutout to win the world series in game 7 after coming back being down 3-1 in the Finals. The starting pitcher and defense seemed to pick it up when needed. In the bottom of the 2nd Magglio Ordonez leads off with a double, only to have Sabathia strike out the side. Bottom of the 5th inning Wilson Betemit leads off with a triple and fails to score. David Ortiz (league MVP) wins it in the 12th with a solo shot.

Little's not going to be happy to see this. All this time he has been thinking he was still alive and kicking.

I use TWENTY THREE(23!) of my players, all 16 hitters, and all 6 RP plus Santana, who goes 9 2/3 striking out 12, while the other team uses 20(43 players used in all, out of the 44 possible, only his backup C, Paul Bako wasn't used, as we go NINETEEN(19) innings for a 4-3 victory -- I come back at Petco down 3-0 in the bottom of the ninth, scoring 2 of my 3 runs to tie on a wild pitch, passed ball, and "single and error"......39(!!!) runners are stranded on base in the game, and TWENTY EIGHT(28 ) runners are stranded on base in innings 9-19 failing to score before Charles Johnson the .52 backup C who hit .196 with a .283 SLG last year who came in in the 12th as the defensive replacement(?!) to Singleton's PH David Bell gets the game winning single in the bottom of the 9th after 2 HBP the load the bases to end this ridiculous game.....all the players passed out on the field after :D

How about a 13 inning game with a walk off walk? Bases loaded with 2 out in the bottom of the 13th and Helling walks Finley to drive in the winning run. Back 4 More uses all available pitchers and all but 1 batter for the win.

World Series Game 7 Extra-Innings Squeaker.

Hornets come back from a 3-1 game deficit to tie the series, and send the deciding game to extra innings on 9th inning doubles off of Brad Lidge by Chase "Ankle Crasher" Utley and Hideki "Snapping Wrist" Matsui.

Gas Cloud wins the game in the bottom of the 10th. After singling, Scott Podsednik stole second (his 7th steal of the postseason). Luis Castillo then delivered a game and series winning single. Bhopal fans rushed the Petco Park field, killing two police horses in the process. Arrest warrants pending.
