Single Season Strat

Over on the 1969 board, people are making a small clamor for more single season Strat online games. My vote is for one of the following seasons:

1927 (Murderer's Row)
1934 (Gas House Gang)
1957 (Brooklyn Dodgers)
1973 or 1975 ('73 A's; '75 Big Red Machine)

I realize alot of these cards are in the ATG III set, which I admit I have not played, but will do so next. However, I believe Strat already has all of the above seasons complete in Advanced cards.

I'd like to see a vote on what single season should be next:

I'd personally like to see something from the mid 80's, maybe 1985 or 1987. I know there is already back to the 80's but I'd rather have single season than the mystery card. For me the 80's are when I was growing up and first started watching baseball. I'd like to build my 1985 Toronto Blue Jays.

I vote for a 70's year! '75 or '73 would be fine!

Single seasons get old fast. There is only so much you can do. I think they would be better off reproducing a decade, like in the 80's game.

how about they do 80-89 and you can only buy in as a keeper league, you have to do all 10 seasons and it costs $200.00

The decade idea is a good one, but in a way, can't you do something pretty similar with the new ATG III formats? The 50's should be a no brainer.

The 70's would be okay, but IMO, the game and players in the late 70's were way different than in the early 70's. It's almost two different eras to me. You could probaly say that about any decade though.

No one would argue with 1975. The appeal there is that many of us were around, and remember the players.

How about 1930? The whole National League hit .300.

there is a 1969 board? and people post there ? I didn't know that game was still up...... well at least it isn't fantasim

I just looked over there , there doesn't seem to be too much clamoring since you can see posts from May 5 on the first page!!!!

Bernie needs to create games with shelf lives, like the 80s and ATG

personally I'd like to see a 60s mystery card game
