$2mil or Less Starters

Am in need of a starting pitcher less than $2 mil and who would be feel at home in US Cellular. I already have Kelvim Escobar who is doing a fine job and Curt Schilling, well he's doing better and his ERA is down since installed him as my mop-up guy.

The need for this was became necessary when Danny Bautista started not doing so well and inflated his ERA up to 5.50. Also, I was running a platoon in RF but I had to give up the one I used against RHP's in a trade for starting pitchers where he was used to even the money up. Now I have Sosa who is lousy agaist RHP and poor on defense. Anyway, with Bautista heading south, I might drop him for someone else and shave some money off to get a more credible option in RF.

Any ideas?

I think Bautista is a good value in a HR park. I have had success with him. I would say Lidle or Hampton might be decent for under 2M.

There are many. I believe Thompson has no #HR and Cook is pretty good with few #HR and some GBA's. Others I use and have seen used are Lohse, Lidle, Moyer, Wells(hit or miss), Sosa, etc. Sort SP's by ERA and the best for US Cell are usually near the top. I have never tried Papelbon though.
