ok, question to others about drafting and results..
I drafted B.Giles( as RF) i believe he is at something around 8.09 i endup with griffey at 5.65 now question is while there was wells left in the No Abreu, but sheff was on waivers too, and i believe wells is abit over griffey price tag, plus there is crawford left on the waiver's wire as well as Winn, how come i didnt get one of thoose other guys insead? I find the drafting system is kinda of misleading, and maybe the good old boys of tsn could maybe see if something else can be done to get better results of the drafting. its just something i like to start a thread on and hopefully Bernie would loook more into this.. thanks guys

Griffey would[b:3445bf394b] not [/b:3445bf394b]have been a replacement for Giles. You would have got the next highest-salaried RF not drafted by someone else as the replacement for Giles. In addition, it must be his primary position. For example, your replacement for M. Cabrera is a LF, even though we almost always draft him with the intentions of playing him at 3B. LF is his primary pos. this year.

I think tsn should show the draft details as proof to the team that makes their cards,
for example, once the draft is made, tsn sends out a email to the teams mail box of the league "welcoming to the league", and the players that was selected in order by that respectful team, then showing their results of the draft. this way, we could see if a) the draft was made according to how the rules implies or something is wrong..

What about Giles being coded as cf. Giles has both cf and rf on his card, and in the FA search, CF comes before RF when you make a list of them.
Griffey would have been a replacement for CF-Giles.

Lucky, i think the price difference there is abit steep almost 3million difference, why wasnt francour drafted? it just doesnt make any sense if i am picking bgiles i should be getting the next highest price at that position, giles nature position is rf, not cf. or i am wrong here?

Lucky's Incorrect, Giles' primary position is RF. Do a search of "all hitters" and Giles is listed as a [b:6446eed984]RF.[/b:6446eed984] Of course if you do a search of CF's Giles will show up, but that's not his primary position.

Dev - If you fail to get B. Giles you WILL get the next highest salaried player whose primary position is RF. No if's and or but's.
That is the best and really only way to do it, the draft system is fair, especially since the introduction of weighted waivers. :)

...although you won't get "weighted waivers" in a regular public AD.

i didnt say anything about it being fair or unfair, i just think to be on the sure side tsn should do the followiing i am suggesting. it would help all of us understanding the draft better how it works and who got what during the draft, its almost like being a live draft except we doing proxies on draft cards and rolling the dice...
