1)Neither closer is ideal. Howry because of his low C* rating and Hoffman because he's not that good. If you can afford Howry, Nathan would be much better. If you want to spend less, Krod or Hermanson for a little more $$$ would be much better than Hoffman IMO.
2)Neither 2b is ideal either IMO, unless you are trying to supply punch vs lhp's and expect to face a few. In that case, I would try Castillo for his better defense and power potential vs lhp's. Polanco is OK too though.
